Alfie Ebojo aka alfienumeric: Designer/Illustrator/Visual Artist

Bio:

Alfie Ebojo aka @alfienumeric is a Los Angeles-based performing and visual artist as well as a cultural arts advocate. She has shown her work and performed onstage from Honolulu, Hawaii to Brooklyn, New York, reaching Edinburgh, Scotland and beyond.

Alfie believes creating space for artists is important, so she balances her time between personal work and curating / producing arts and humanities events. Her work centers the subject of love including self-love and healing past pain and trauma.

Building stronger communities through art and education.

Alfie has dedicated much of her art career in community building and has aligned her work with many prominent arts organizations. Whether it is being an educator, performer, producer or sitting on a board, Alfie believes that art is a catalyst for social change as well as a way to heal generational pain and confliction. She has worked with organizations such as East West Players, FilAm Arts, VC Communications, Search to Involve Pilipino Americans, California Association of African-American Superintendents and Administrators, Plaza de la Raza, Pilipino Workers Center, Las Fotos Project, Mujeres de Maiz, and Narrated Objects just to name a few.

Many of Alfie's work are inspired with current events and events that happen globally.

Nature is a strong theme in many of the paintings.

Growing up, Alfie rarely sees women or themes that she feels connected to. Many of her work will feature Asian, Islander and Indigenous women and characters.

Currently, after taking a hiatus due to the pandemic, Alfie is back to creating and showcasing work at various art shows around Los Angeles and San Diego. Please connect with her through the following social media outlets.
